How to apply?
Thank you for choosing the Georgia-Atlanta China Visa Service Center (GCV) for your visa application needs.
You may either deliver your application package to our Atlanta–Doraville office in person or use our convenient mail-in service from anywhere within the United States.
If you would like to proceed, please select one of the following Service Types offered by GCV:
A. All-Inclusive Service (Type A)
GCV provides a full-service experience, including but not limited to:
completing the online visa application form, taking visa photos, preparing all supporting documents, submitting the passport to the Embassy, and collecting it once processed.
-
Total Fee: USD $320 per American passport (includes both service and Embassy application fees for regular processing).
Applicants holding passports of other countries may have different fees. Please contact us or visit our website for details: https://georgiachinavisa.org/fees/. -
Letter of Invitation Verification (for M or F visas only): + USD $60
-
Mailing Service: + USD $40, or you may use your own carrier and include a return shipping label.
Please note: Service fees are non-refundable, even if your application is denied by the Embassy.
Regular processing takes 2–3 weeks. Expedited options are available upon request at the time of document submission.
B. Self-Filled Online Application (Type B)
This option is for applicants who prefer to complete the online visa application form themselves, with or without assistance from GCV.
-
Applicants who request GCV’s guidance will receive a $40 discount.
-
Applicants who complete the entire process independently (DIY Type), without any assistance from GCV, will receive an $80 discount.
Please note: For Type B applications, processing will only proceed after the Embassy system completes its preliminary review and the status changes to “Passport to be submitted.”
Applicants are responsible for checking the Embassy system frequently after submitting the form and for following any on-screen instructions. Even with GCV’s assistance, it remains the applicant’s sole responsibility to pass the Embassy’s preliminary review. Please note that GCV’s service fees are non-refundable, even if the application is rejected by the Embassy.

FAQ: What Are the Differences Between Type A and Type B?
-
If you are comfortable completing the online form and confident in following system instructions, Type B is more cost-effective and may lead to faster processing once your form reaches the “Passport to be submitted” stage.
-
If you are not familiar with online systems or prefer professional assistance, Type A is recommended. It helps avoid delays caused by incomplete forms or Embassy rejections during the preview stage.
-
You may upgrade from Type B to Type A at any time, allowing GCV to take over and handle the remaining process on your behalf.
-
Applicants choosing Type B and requesting GCV’s assistance must complete payment via Zelle or Venmo before we begin the service.
-
Please note that for Type B service, our team provides guidance only and does not make any edits to the applicant’s form in order to maintain consistency.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
